I'm willing to do an NMU to fix this long standing RC bug, using Antonio's patch.
Please let me know if you can do an upload in the next week or so. If there's no update, I'll sort out an NMU in a week. I know it involves a quick run through NEW for the renaming of one package but I don't expect that to be a particularly long delay.
