What would be an acceptable fix for this? I don't really want to further
complicate our build process and add more dependencies by minifying JS
as part of it.
So could we include the "source" Javascript file as well as the minified
form in the source distribution, with no link (except maybe a README)
between the two?
This bug is currently blocking a bunch of fixes for data loss bugs.
