Dear maintainer,
We're aiming to migrate the archive to using wxwidgets3.0 instead of
wxwidgets2.8.
I've attempted to rebuild chipw by updating the BD to libwxgtk3.0-dev
but it the build fails due to various wx API changes.
Looking at the PTS, I see the last upload of chipw was actually an NMU I
did 2011-12-16 for the wx2.8 transition. There's not been an upstream
release since; I pinged the sparsely populated upstream IRC channel and
got a response, but there doesn't seem to be any development going on
upstream. Given the popcon score is 44 installs of which only 5 have
been used recently, I wonder if removal is the most sensible option?
Cheers,
Olly
