Package: postfix
Version: 2.11.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

after last update, /var/log/auth.log shows more lines like

Feb 14 17:06:20 hpdv5 postfix/smtp[23848]: looking for plugins in
'/usr/lib/sasl2', failed to open directory, error: No such file or
directory

and if I search that pid into /var/log/mail.log I find

Feb 14 17:06:26 hpdv5 postfix/smtp[23848]: 32986B8012:
to=<stef...@hpdv5.stecalle.uff>, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024,
delay=4.2, delays=0.04/1.3/0.01/2.9, d sn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0
from MTA(smtp:[127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as 6B23BB8102)

The messages are sent regularly into the user (me) spool.

I found an old report (#426338) for the same error so I have looked inside
/usr/lib/sasl2

/etc <-su> # ls -la /var/spool/postfix/usr/lib/sasl2/
totale 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root  1 set 14  2008 ./
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 16 feb  8  2009 ../

It is empty but I don't see permission problem.

Thanks.
