Package: libminiupnpc5
Version: 1.5-2
Severity: serious
libminiupnpc5 contains the static library /usr/lib/libminiupnpc.a .
This library should be in the -dev package, not the shared library
package. In addition to violating Debian Policy, and making this
package incompatible with a potential future version of libminiupnpc
with a new SONAME, this also breaks the configure scripts of packages
that use AC_CHECK_LIB to check for -lminiupnpc and assume the headers
will be present if found.

Hi,
I don't think I will have the energy to fight my way to fix this in
Wheezy, so I'm closing this bug (it's already fixed in Sid).
If anyone wants to do this work, then please reopen the bug, and NMU the
package to proposed-updates with prior approval from the release team
(you'd have my benediction for doing this).
