Hey, actually I went through this yesterday and I believe this is not the fault of boost, but of cpp-netlib building against the static libs instead of dynamic libs. (-Bstatic)
I filed the bug upstream here: https://github.com/cpp-netlib/cpp-netlib/issues/329 I didn't get a chance to verify my theory though, so I'll leave open this bug for now.
