Package: gmpc
Version: 11.8.16-6
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
after installation of some system updates (last week) suddenly
gmpc have started to fail to start (crash immediately) with the
following message:
$ gmpc
(gmpc:4432): MMKeysPlugin-WARNING **: mmkeys.vala:86: Failed to grab media
keys: The name org.gnome.SettingsDaemon was not provided by any .service files
** (gmpc:4432): WARNING **: gmpc-nowplaying2.vala:999: Failed to load the gmpc
logo: Unrecognized image file format
** (gmpc:4432): ERROR **: gmpc-favorites.vala:165: error: Unrecognized image
file format
Trace/breakpoint trap
This happens all the time. No way to start gmpc anymore. :-(
At first I suspected a file corruption, but a check with debsums did
not find anything wrong. Nevertheless, I have tried to reinstall the
relevant packages, to no avail.
Am I the only one having this problem? Does anybody have any hint
about what may have caused it and how to try to fix?
