I'm afraid I probably won't find time to do an exhaustive search, but I think it would be worthwhile to directly test each package depending on libfreetype6 and find the set of now-missing symbols which are important in Debian. Even if it isn't practical for us to restore 100% compatibility with 2.1.7, we may be able to achieve something which is close enough, with a relatively small deltia to 2.1.10. > Even worse, though, is the number of symbols *added* -- 75 new symbols, vs. > 32 removed. Anything which has started using new symbols from 2.1.10 is extremely likely to still be API-compatible with previous versions, and can simply be recompiled, no? -- - mdz -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
