Sorry, but I really don't think this is a good fix for this bug. -Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 7.0.50~), quilt, - lazarus (>= 0.9.30.4), lcl-gtk2, lcl-units, lcl-utils (>= 0.9.30.4), +Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 9), quilt, + lazarus-ide-1.0.8, + lcl-gtk2-1.0.8, lcl-units-1.0.8, lcl-utils-1.0.8, The -1.0.8 packages are no longer built by the current source package in unstable; so this means that optgeo is now deliberately build-depending on binary packages that are on death row, as those binaries will want to be removed very soon. This is OK for brief transitional periods, but it isn't sustainable. I would say that true fixes for this bug would be: * port to Lazarus 1.0.10, or fix the regression in 1.0.10 that broke the optgeo build, whichever reflects the true state of affairs * remove optgeo * petition Lazarus package maintainer for a separate 1.0.8 source package ... and of course porting to the current version would be best.
