Hi Guido, I'm running Debian testing but I'd like to try gnome-shell 3.8.
Would you know which packages to give priority to, in order to install it from experimental? Naively I've tried the following /etc/apt/preferences, but aptitude cannot figure out how to make dependencies meet. Thanks anyway, Carlo. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Package: gnome-shell Pin: release a=experimental Pin-Priority: 1100 Package: * Pin: release a=testing Pin-Priority: 990 Package: * Pin: release a=unstable Pin-Priority: 500 2013/6/15 Guido Günther <a...@sigxcpu.org> > Hi, > On Thu, Jun 13, 2013 at 02:40:57PM +0200, Julien Danjou wrote: > > Package: gnome-shell > > Version: 3.8.3-1 > > Severity: grave > > Tags: patch > > > > I've upgraded to 3.8.3-1 and gnome-shell stopped starting with the > folling > > error: > > JS LOG: IBus version is too old > > JS ERROR: !!!
