Hi! I looked at the code and did not find anything suspicious (yet), but this issue might be related to this one: http://code.google.com/p/libarchive/issues/detail?id=223 The patch is apparently not applied on the Debian package (or upstream release). Since I cannot test this here, could someone maybe check if that solves the issue? If yes, I wonder why some buildd's apparently run with noatime. Cheers, Matthias
