After some research because of this I ended up here. This is unacceptable.
Debian 7 throws random popups at users and makes them enter their root password? There is no way for users to see if the request is legit. Any application can create such a popup. Even a website. And there is no way to configure this differently? And the topic gets treatet in the most arrogant manner? As a long time Debian user, Im sad about this.
