Package: amarok Version: 1.3.5-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hi, According to what I read in bug report #337754, debian testing users are supposed to install the version from unstable (since there is no testing version of amarok). Fine. Here is what I get when I try to install amarok (I swiched the output to english for the bug report): [EMAIL PROTECTED] olivier > export LANG=en [EMAIL PROTECTED] olivier > apt-get install amarok/unstable amarok-engines/unstable amarok-arts/unstable amarok-gstreamer/unstable amarok-xine/unstable Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Selected version 1.3.6-1 (Debian:unstable) for amarok Selected version 1.3.6-1 (Debian:unstable) for amarok-engines Selected version 1.3.6-1 (Debian:unstable) for amarok-arts Selected version 1.3.6-1 (Debian:unstable) for amarok-gstreamer Selected version 1.3.6-1 (Debian:unstable) for amarok-xine Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: amarok: Depends: libstdc++6 (>= 4.0.2-3) but 4.0.2-2 is to be installed amarok-arts: Depends: libstdc++6 (>= 4.0.2-3) but 4.0.2-2 is to be installed amarok-gstreamer: Depends: libstdc++6 (>= 4.0.2-3) but 4.0.2-2 is to be installed amarok-xine: Depends: libstdc++6 (>= 4.0.2-3) but 4.0.2-2 is to be installed E: Broken packages [EMAIL PROTECTED] olivier > Of course, I've tried to add "libstdc++6/unstable" to my query, but this results in swiching to debian unstable (upgrade gcc, all kde stuff, etc.). NB: I have no idea of the reason why there is no amarok package in testing. Maybe this bug report is not politically correct... ;) So is there a way to install amarok on Debian testing?
