The information above refers to the package in wheezy / sid, but the system information indicates:
Debian Release: 6.0.7
Packages are not required to be buildable on earlier releases. So long as 1.2.12-1 builds on wheezy, there's no RC bug here. (It might be useful to version the dpkg-dev build-dependency but that's a lower severity issue.)
