That's what I was actually saying.

It makes NO sense to change *anything* to OLD_SSL_CERT.

It makes NO sense to change *anything* to SSL_CERT - but still a bit more 
than the first.

It makes NO sense to anything at all.

So,

IF the maintainer insists in touching the config file, then they should do 
it in a way that at least *looks* sensible.

But changing anything is just plain broken and from my point of view, this 
code block has to be removed entirely.
