This bug was originally filed at serious severity because it caused a build
failure in the mumble package. The mumble package, which is the sole
reverse-build-dependency of zeroc-ice, has since worked around this issue by
hard-coding use of gcc-4.6 while building. Thus, the RC severity is no
longer justified for wheezy; and since, per the bug log, a proper fix breaks
the library ABI in a backwards-incompatible fashion (which I've confirmed
for myself here), this isn't something that we want to "fix" during the
freeze. Anyone using zeroc-ice for building applications other than mumble
can simply use the same approach for wheezy of using gcc-4.6 or earlier.

Post-wheezy, it is likely that gcc-4.6 will no longer be included and this
bug will again require attention for jessie. For this reason, I'm marking
the bug 'wheezy-ignore' rather than downgrading it. Hopefully once wheezy
is out, an upstream fix will be available with a proper SONAME bump for this
issue.
