Hi,

another licensing issues has been reported [1] in the ntop source code.

The protocols.c contains both the GPL and the 4-clause BSD license.
However, the 4-clause BSD license is not compatible with the GPL
because of its "advertising clause" [2].

I tried to understand what part of the code is licensed under BSD, but
I could not find it. Can you give me some details on that?

That part can be replaced, or, if it comes from the BSD distribution,
it will benefit from this re-licensing [3].

Thank you,
Ludovico
