I did NOT upgrade the procps. Then I had the udev problem. As I said, not a matter of "too." Did not upgrade procps. Had this bug. So, the bug I filed is that apt should not have allowed me to do this. No procps upgrade, no libproc0 upgrade. If doing both caused the original bug, then there was a verson incompatability.
