Package: python3
Version: 3.2.3-4
Severity: important
I think rewriting python shebangs to python3 is a bad idea. It's kind
of like rewriting perl to python3. It has broken a number of packages,
it breaks reasonable expectations (e.g. that dh_foo is a nop for
non-foo-related packages), and I don't know of a case where it is useful
to do this transformation. Thanks for considering.
Cheers,
Julien
