Package: ipcfg
Version: 0.4
Severity: grave
Tags: experimental fixed-upstream
Justification: renders package unusable

Hello,

I discovered while trying to setup pbuilder with experimental suite that
ipcfg gets pulled but fails to install while configuring with this:

[snip]
Setting up ipcfg (0.4) ...
update-rc.d: warning: ipcfg start runlevel arguments (2 3 4 5) do not
match LSB Default-Start values (S)
update-rc.d: warning: ipcfg stop runlevel arguments (0 1 6) do not match
LSB Default-Stop values (0 6)
insserv: script ipcfg: service networking already provided!
insserv: exiting now!
update-rc.d: error: insserv rejected the script header
dpkg: error processing ipcfg (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit
 status 1
[snap]

I have seen in your git repository that you replaced this bug causing
file ipcfg.init.d in commit 734c67a4fafc6d8e71f5feecb75414aa9bd261c9.
I do not want to push a release but leave this bug to inform other people.
Thank you for this promising package. I would like to test it soon.

Best regards,

Karl Ferdinand Ebert

Hi,

ipcfg 0.4 was removed, and won't be coming back (there is a rewrite in
progress, but it's unlikely that this bug will affect that package).
Hence, closing this bug.
