That's not data loss, then. I'm downgrading the severity of this bug report accordingly. Given the huuuge diff between testing and unstable (156 files changed, 11615 insertions(+), 6940 deletions(-)), if you want to get a bug fix into wheezy anyway, I'd suggest cherry-picking the patch and considering an upload to testing-proposed-updates. In which case, please contact debian-release@ with a prospective diff against testing. Mraw, KiBi.
