This bug is the same as #680824, afaict. It was resolved in 1:2.20110530.1-4 with a patch, and in 1:2.20110530.1-5 by forcing the use of ruby 1.8 as a build dep. However, since i continue to get only semi-reproducible test suite failures on some of the buildd machines for the typing tests, and i'm apparently unable to get upstream to fix these bugs or debug them myself [0], i'm not sure what to do.
