I'm now using

which libvirt is translating to:
-device intel-hda,id=sound0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x6
-device hda-duplex,id=sound0-codec0,bus=sound0.0,cad=0
I'll wait if that brings any improvement. (For now I get a bad IRQ in dmesg, but
audio input works. Might deal with that later.)
