Hi, > Hm, did you try to mess up with gconf-editor
Not yet. But i try now:. I do not see an alternative to apps|brasero|config|priority|libisofs-image Well i now set apps|brasero|config|priority|growisofs-burn 1 This did not change anything. Now growisofs process to see while the DVD burn is going on. I try: apps|brasero|config|priority|libburn-burn 2 (At the second try the setting becomes persistent.) No growisofs process to spot. Sigh. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ apps|brasero|filter|hidden could be to blame for the missing dot-files. Yes. It is. So my results now pass diff -r without much complaints. But it is not flawless yet. An empty directory is still missing on the DVD: libburn_dir/hurd-git/gnumach/.git/refs/tags ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Hm, uses libburn and libisofs and you observed a fail? A failure to properly recognize the state of the loaded medium after a first run succeeded and ended in the well-known Brasero failure to eject. After this, the program is quite unusable and has to be ended. I purposely did try another burn, just to get offered the log. Regrettably i cannot provoke a log with a successful run. I roughly understand your theory about WEXITSTATUS. It would explain why Brasero stops to transfer more data. But without being able to engage growisofs, it will be hard to examine. So how do i upgrade libisofs, libburn and Brasero to sid ? How do i enable use of growisofs ? Have a nice day :) Thomas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
