Source: python-avogadro Severity: serious -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
In the recent python-qt4 (4.9.3-1) upload, the Provides field has been removed, so python-avogadro becomes uninstallable because python2.7-qt4 is not available anymore. Bug has been filed against python-qt4 too. However, grepping through /var/lib/dpkg/available shows, that python-avogadro seems to be the almost only package depending on pythonX.Y-FOO packages instead of python-FOO. So what are we going to do? Depend on python-FOO instead of versioned dependencies?
