Hello, I was able to confirm that this bug is valid. From the looks of [1], the maintainer uses 2 email addresses for Debian work. The second address (gurkan [AT] phys [DOT] ethz [DOT] ch) appears to still be deliverable and valid. I have prepared a short patch to adjust the email address for the maintainer in the debian/control file.
