Dear Rene,

I have seen that you supported at
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=673895. I experience the
same problem under Ubuntu 12.04, having Libreoffice 3.5.3.2.
I primarily use Writer for my daily work, and this bug makes it impossible.
After opening a .doc (or .ods, I have tried that one too, same error),
after a while (can be half an hour, or two minutes, after a crash it gets
more and more frequently), while I am scrolling either with my mouse or
using the arrows (mouse removed), the system freezes. I can move the
cursor, but nothing happens, it is not reacting to anything
(ctr+alt+bckspace). I need to force to quit with the power button. I check
all the updates, hoping that it would work.
I have tried what they suggested here:
http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=77851, did not work. I
keep on searching forums, but what I see that there is no solution that
would work.

Do you have any idea what could be the problem? I don't want to give up on
using Ubuntu.

If you need other data, let me know.

Best regards,
DrMaud
