Drupal6 and Drupal7 are different enough for upgrades to be a real
PITA - Drupal6 is still maintained upstream (for security updates
only).

I know that having extra versions is a burden, and I understand that
Drupal6 can and probably should be removed. Migration will be a
challenge for many users, though. Given the responsiveness track of
the Drupal developers, I'd request leaving Druapl6 in - But take it as
a "light" request only, just answering to the "is there a reason..?"
part.
