Hello, May I override safely my fail2ban squeeze package with a newer deb package like : wget http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/pool/main/f/fail2ban/fail2ban_0.8.6-2_all.deb dpkg -i fail2ban_0.8.6-2_all.deb
Or will this make problems ? I've read this bug makes fail2ban unsuable on any multi-core cpu, which represent a huge part of linux server configurations so IMHO it IS definitely a major bug.
