* What led up to the situation?
when I try to compile the broadcom module in Debian Sid:

after upgrade to the kernel 3.2.
I followed the debina wiki and using m-a a-i broadcom-sta, I have the
following error:
# cat /var/cache/modass/broadcom-sta-source*buildlog* (part of the
