On another Wheezy system, Replaygain works. The first (malfunctioning) system
started out as a text-only installation, and I then added mythtv, openbox,
rhythmbox, etc. Gnome is not installed. The second system started life as a
full
GUI system ("Desktop" option on the net-installer CD). So I suspect there is
a missing dependency for Rhythmbox -- a package that is present in a full Gnome
system, but not present on a more stripped-down system.
