Package: netspeed
Version: 0.16-3
Justification: renders package unusable
Severity: grave
Dear Maintainer,
I was running updates on my system and netspeed which is/was on
systray is not there anymore. Please see
https://poddery.com/uploads/images/15924d83dcfbd530d280.png . I do not
see a way in which I can see or use netspeed. This makes it harder for
me to know if my networking is giving me correct speeds or not. I
tried to find if there is anyway to do something about it but seems
there isn't. I'm in gnome-session-fallback. I did find a
gnome-shell-extension which does something similar
https://github.com/ojo/gnome-shell-extension-netmonitor but then
gnome-shell-extension still has stuff from experimental.
$ sudo aptitude install gnome-shell-extensions

Hi all,
What had happened is for some reason gnome-session-fallback didn't
work and was straight thrown into GNOME 3. Realized the same when I
went into the #debian-gnome channel that I was in GNOME 3.
Previously I had done the following :-
a.Click gnome-control-center.
b.Click the System Info icon.
c.Click Graphics.
d.Change Forced Fallback Mode to ON.
Now this option is no longer available at least on the GUI. So each
time I guess have to manually log off and then log on
gnome-session-fallback.
