Package: e2fsprogs
Version: 1.42~WIP-2011-10-05-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

After upgrade e2fsprogs and e2fslibs to e2fslibs_1.42~WIP-2011-10-05-1 and
e2fsprogs_1.42~WIP-2011-10-05-1, system failed to boot.
It is clear that the problem is within fsck.ext4, which failed to check file
system and the file system was mounted read-only.

In rescue mode (using init=/bin/bash in grub option), when running fsck.ext4,
the following error message was printed:
fsck.ext4 undefined symbol : ste_com_err_gettext

Downgraing e2fslibs and e2fsprogs to e2fslibs_1.41.12-4stable1 and
e2fsprogs_1.41.12-4stable1 solved the problem.
