python-numpy is on the build-dependencies list for 1.5.1 in our svn and also listed as such here http://packages.debian.org/source/unstable/python-cogent And the packages built successfully on many different platforms https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=python-cogent Jakub, can you please investigate?
