About the archive rebuild: The rebuild was done on about 50 AMD64 nodes
of the Grid'5000 platform, using a clean chroot.  Internet was not
accessible from the build systems.

Hi,

your bug report was submitted while an NMU which (also) fixed that
issue was waiting in DELAYED. See the related
http://bugs.debian.org/621381 for details.

So I close this bug herewith as nvi built fine on all but one
architectures, at least on all release architectures. Only hurd-i386
failed.
