Some more things I tried:
* Removing /var/run and /var/lock mount points from my /etc/fstab as
suggested by boot messages.
* Removing the fs2ram package which also plays around with these
things.
* Reinstalling udev (for all the configuration and trigger stuff)
after I've done the above things.
None of them did help so far.
What also doesn't work since 169-1:
* Polling the battery state via ACPI: "No support for device type:
power_supply"
A few details about the non-working X:
* Failed to open DRM device for pci:0000:00:02.0: No such file or
directory
* Failed to become DRM master
I can post detailed (i.e. copied files, not just typed what I read on
the other display :-) later if that would be helpful.
Regards, Axel
