The new amrita packaging places ams in /usr/bin, where it conflicts with the ams package's main executable; could you please install it by a different name (amrita-ams?) or to a different location? (In particular, it looks like the old-style libamrita-ruby1.8 package avoided this problem by installing ams and amshandler as examples under /usr/share/doc.)
