Package: bitcoin
Version: 0.3.20.2~dfsg-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
This is what I get when trying to install the package:
aptitude install bitcoind
The following NEW packages will be installed:
bitcoind{b} [0.3.20.2~dfsg-2] <+1303 kB>
libboost-program-options1.42.0{a} [1.42.0-4+b1] <+512 kB> (for bitcoind)
0 packages upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 499 kB/664 kB of archives. After unpacking 1815 kB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
bitcoind: Depends: libcrypto++8 which is a virtual package.
Depends: libdb4.8++ which is a virtual package.
The following actions will resolve these dependencies:
Keep the following packages at their current version:
1) bitcoind [Not Installed]
No other solutions are provided. libcrypto++8 doesn't exist, but there
is a libcrypto++9. There is a package libdb4.8 but no libdb4.8++.
