Yup. I understand the point... was aiming to a first quick
solution. Well, this has prompted me to start talking over the issue
with the upstream author.

Ok - I'm talking about this with the upstream author, he tells me he
does depend on the specific version of JQuery that he is shipping
(somewhat lower than Debian's); he's trying to allow for an upgrade,
but has not yet resolved the issue.

Right now, Álvaro (adding him Cc:ed) is searching for the uncompressed
sources for the specific versions he is including; is it agreeable for
the ftpmasters for me to upload it as a Debian-specific patch now? I'm
asking Álvaro to ship the sources as part of his sources starting next
version (mainly to avoid version drift between the patch I'll put in
and the real version included)... But I understand he will have to
weigh it with the rest of the project members.
