Hello,

I encountered the same problem with a much more clear system.

I have no initrd kernel as my / is on a md device. However, with the new
udev this device gets mounted without problem but the rest of my system
that is on LVM (/usr, /var, ...) cannot be mounted.

After the downgrade this work perfect as before.

I do not have and never had /run on my system. And /dev/.udev is in udev
and exists. (Well, on the system with the downgraded udev)

So this bug seems to be a big show stopper.
