Package: gringotts Version: 1.2.8+1.2.9pre1-8 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
hi, I don't know if it's just me, my kernel or the new gnome (but I doubt the latter) but gringotts in testing fails to start. once again :-/. I start it like this: ,---- | $ gringotts `---- or like this: ,---- | $ gringotts -f ~/passwds.grg `---- and all I get is this: ,---- | (process:11198): gringotts-CRITICAL **: Increase the memory locking | limit to at least 51200000 bytes. Current limit: 32768 bytes. `---- but fear not! in order to provide you with more information I thought I'd try it with strace... ,---- | $ strace gringotts -f ~/passwds.grg `---- and what do my weary eyes see? gringotts in all its beauty (and more important: my passwords)! I googled for the gringotts-CRITICAL message to no avail. If I can do anything to help you (e.g. strace output, which I did not include here because it's veeeeeeeeeery much and beacaus it does work under strace or anything else) please let me know. greetings -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (700, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.13.1-phobos Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages gringotts depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.1-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgringotts1 1.2.1-8 encapsulate data in an encrypted a ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.8-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters gringotts recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
