Package: nam
Version: 1.15~RC4-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hi,
fernando@vostro:~$ nam
nam:
[code omitted because of length]
: version conflict for package "Tk": have 8.5.9, need exactly 8.5.8
while executing
"package require -exact Tk 8.5.8"
fernando@vostro:~$
This looks similar to #617261. I find problems like this understandable, of
course, but isn't there a way to use versioned Depends exactly to avoid
problems like this since it looks like ns/nam depend on very specific versions
of Tcl/Tk?
I tried to go back to Tk 8.5.8 from snapshots.debian.org, but so far no luck.
This is something I expected package management to handle properly... :-(
Please let me know of any other info I might be able to provide.
Thanks in advance.
