The patch fixed it. I had however already a java6 installed: j...@vostro:~$ ls -l /etc/alternatives/java lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 36 10. Aug 2008 /etc/alternatives/java -> /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/java Dont't know why this was not used.
