The attached patch fixes this issue.
Here's the details:
* DejaVuSansMono-Roman.ttf was already in the Debian
package "ttf-dejavu"
* /usr/share/rrdtools only contained this font, so it's
no longer listed in the rrdtool.install
* a dependency for librrd2 to ttf-dejavu was added
* --with-rrd-default-font option added to the configure script call.
