Package: omhacks
Version: 0.11-1
Severity: normal

If one uses omhacks.so under 2.6.34 without resume_reason support it
segfaults on resume.

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x40026998 in ?? () from /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/omhacks.so

This happens since om_resume_reason returns NULL but omhacks.c does
not check the return value. I'm reporting this as a bug so that I
don't forget this. Enrico, you wrote all this omhacks.c stuff --
should we duplicate all the return value checks that are done by
om-cmdline.c too?

   * Avoid crash in omhacks.so when it is run under a kernel that does not
     support resume_reason. Closes: #601321
 .

   * Also check error code when reading led status. There was no known bug
about it, but it was an unchecked error code found during a code review
for other unchecked error codes after #601321
   * Use detected maximum brightness value instead of an arbitrary hardcoded
     one
