Package: network-manager
Severity: serious
Version: 0.8.1-1
The network-manager package refuses to be purged if the
/var/lib/NetworkManager/ directory do not exist. I ran into this
problem when trying to set up the LTSP environment for Debian Edu,
were we purge network-manager after it was installed as a recommends
for some package in the LTSP chroot.
The problem is the rmdir call in the postrm, failing if no directory
exist.
Setting severity to seriuos, as this make it impossible to purge the
package after installing it but before it has created the directory it
want to remove on purge.
Happy hacking,
