Since it's been over a year now I'd like to ask whether the above is still true? Or do you think that evas is `stable enough' nowadays, so that it could migrate to testing?
I think it's probably still volatile, but as there starts to be applications using E17 in Debian and using E17 seems relatively problem-free, I'm not sure if it makes sense not to allow E17 + apps to migrate to testing. Well, the E team has the last word in this anyway.
Of course, if it would be known that The Release is just around the corner (like it has been for years), it could make sense to actually wait for it.
