Not sufficient, you need -P- also. I do not expect "upstream" ghostscript.com (artifex.com) to make -P- the default, I do not know if Debian will. (There are other bugs with gs, thus it is unsafe with all those options, but those are being worked on upstream and should make it into Debian, eventually.)
