Well, the sponsoring is the blocker for me too ;) ... the package in ubuntu
is fine, freel free to comaintain this package in debian by helping finding
someone to upload etc. Also go ahead and add yourself to Uploaders, so we
can get you DM upload rights at some point.

Also, dont bother about NMU/delayed queue unless you want to consierably
diverge from the ubnutu package ... I consider NMUs a PITA and you should
rather be in the team maintaining this (e.g add yourself to uploaders).
