Package: bbdb
Version: 2.36-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

As a temporary workaround, the user can go to /usr/share/emacs/site-
lisp/bbdb/lisp/ and (as root) "make bbdb-autoloads.el".

Hi, sorry, no you aren't misunderstanding. I didn't understand how the
files got installed by debian emacs packages and my load-path was
wrong. Sorry for the confusion!

If I've got the debian-bts command right, this email should close the
bug too.
